Wastewater Treatment System Components in California
Elutriate Systems designs, installs, operates, maintains, and optimizes all aspects of the wastewater treatment process. To ensure accuracy, we combine all the appropriate wastewater treatment system components in California, including:
Bio Reactors
The effluent is digested aerobically by bacteria through Bio Reactors and converted to compost tea, a great soil probiotic. The systems can be either above or below grade, as desired.
Smart Bio Reactors
Smart Bio Reactors can immediately deflect high BOD discharge to a haul-off tank. With wine having a BOD of 160,000 ppm for 16%, any feasible treatment system usually takes weeks to recover from overloading. Hence, it is better to catch the anomaly on the fly and haul it off or send it back for treatment at a slower rate. The Elutriate Systems Smart Bio Reactor is a real system saver.
Membrane Bio Reactors (MBR)
Adding ultrafiltration (UF) to the Bio Reactor allows the bacteria level to triple, reducing the volume required for treatment by a third. While this is expensive and requires more maintenance, this process is necessary when space is limited or if the treated effluent is to be made potable.
Closed Loop Operation
When the water is reused as potable water, adding UV and RO for TDS control after the above MBR makes this happen. This will reduce/eliminate hookup fees to the cities or discharge requirements from the state.
Remote Monitoring
Remote monitoring pertains to the ability to monitor and track the critical parameters of the treatment process remotely, making the above systems easier to operate. A cause-and-effect scario can be established to track the causes of spikes, lost products, and out-of-discharge conditions to promote quick corrective action.
Automatic Operation
A controller is vital to automating routine manual operations, including pH adjusting, DO, flow control, and pump control.
